My name is Yuki, and I am a coffee lover, hiphop lover, and a beginner French learner based in Paris.

At 17, I discovered a cool guy on YouTube who seemed to be having the best time starting a company, and I wanted to try it myself.

I had been frustrated with Tokyo's packed trains since high school and really wanted to find an alternative, so I envisioned creating an on-demand bus service in Tokyo, but that didn't go too well. I didn't have enough experience to drive such a project at the time.

One day, I met a guy who loved art and wanted to create an alternative income source for artists, so we started building an art streaming platform together where artists could receive a share of the revenue. That was cool, we even got funding, but I personally wanted to work in bigger teams with more complex technical challenges, so I joined another startup, where we created an app for pre-ordering coffee at the cafés we operated in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, I always wanted to live in Paris because of hiphop, and 2022 was just the perfect timing so I made the move.

Currently, I work at Dott, providing a hassle-free vehicle renting experience in European cities. 🚲🛴
